Here you’ll find random images from my files. Some are interesting, and may eventually end up in a post, and some are simply here so I have a link to post photos on the forums from my phone.

Nashi Bonsai at Bill Valavanis’ IBA.

Bigei, his signatures, and a few of his pots, from Bijutsu Bonkei

The three above are some of my favorites published on
The website of Bonsai Sidiao master, Cheng Cheng Kung

Everybody knows who did these three above. My favorite is the Kaede on stone.

A couple of cool flat top bald cypresses. Down here in Mississippi, we have them in the swamps and along riversides. Unlike in La., Most are too large here to collect.

Some really exceptional pots and bonsai.
Hi Ryan,
Question: How do I clean mineral spots from unglazed bonsai pots? Ed Lauer
Depends. Does the pot have patina? No? Then CLR. Yes? Then distilled water with vinegar, elbow grease, and a semi stiff bristle brush.
