Banned from the IBC, sorta!

In recent post, Walter showed 20 some odd non brooms. I posted a single first rate Japanese broom and was bollocked for it. Banned from the site. I dont know what Kev and Fiona are doing over there, but my identity and account on The IBC has been deleted. I can no longer log in. And my posts removed by an administrator. I won’t be back.
update
Out of nowhere this morning it appears my account has been reinstated. I did use some foul language in a post, and I suppose that post deserved to be deleted. As a Chef, having spent 20 years in a kitchen, foul language has become second nature to me. Sometimes it’s all I can do at Christmas dinner not to say “Pass the F*#%+ing ham, mom.”
Mea Culpa. They tell me my account was not deleted, so perhaps it was merely a glitch in the site, my phone, or my google saved passwords that sent me to the guest page and told me to register. Bad timing for a glitch!
I WILL be back.

About japanesepots

I've been collecting Japanese Bonsai pots for a few years, and feel that the famous, and some of the lesser known but great Japanese pot artists could do with a little more writing and exposure in English. Additionally, this blog will feature My own And others bonsai for discussion. The purpose of this blog is to further knowledge of Japanese pottery and Japanese style bonsai. If you have any questions about Japanese bonsai pottery, or would like to acquire pots by some of the potters presented in the blog, feel free to email me at gastrognome@aol.com

IBC: I don’t know where that topic was going but the “brooms” being posted were not brooms. They were informal style. Don’t lose any sleep on it. kev and fonie have their favorites and wally p is one of them.

Just read about this and your not being on the IBC, IMO, is a loss and your pot knowledge is a huge helpful resource. I was going to post some chop marks for your advice on the makers. How do we contact you now? Regards Andy (Stone Monkey) Pearson

Thank you for your honesty in admitting we were not at fault here, Ryan. That is the mark of a decent man IMHO. As I said to you, I have always valued your contribution to IBC and I’m glad you will continue to make it.

And JJ – if you want to be on my favourites list all it takes is chocolate. Please note that at this point in time I am not aware if they do decent chocolate in Munich. Know what I mean? 😉 😀

    Fiona (aka, it appears, fonie)

Ryan. Glad you are staying. You are a huge asset to the bonsai community.
